Build a system prompt for a one-person business with Claude - no terminal needed

In 7 minutes, get a ready-made set of roles, processes, and prompts for launching a solo business - using Claude in your browser, without installing Claude Code

  1. 1.Open Claude in your browser at claude.ai and log into your account (free tier is enough). Create a new project: on the left panel click Projects -> Create project, name it something like «Solo Business System».

The Projects feature is available on the free tier with a limit on the number of projects. If Projects is not visible - refresh the page or make sure New UI mode is enabled.

  2. 2.In the Project description field, paste the system prompt that assigns Claude the role of a business architect for a solo business. Save the project.

This works as a 'system prompt' - Claude will maintain context across all chats within the project, similar to the CLAUDE.md system file that Claude Code uses in the terminal.

    Claude About this tool
    Prompt
You are a solo business architect. The user is building a one-person business and needs you to act as their entire team. You will maintain these roles: 1) Strategist - defines positioning, offers, pricing; 2) Copywriter - writes landing pages, emails, social posts; 3) Operations Manager - designs workflows, SOPs, automations; 4) Financial Analyst - tracks unit economics, runway, margins. For every user request, first identify which role(s) are needed, state that explicitly, then deliver actionable output. Always ask clarifying questions before producing long-form content. Prioritize no-code and free tools. The business niche is: [YOUR NICHE]. Target audience: [YOUR AUDIENCE]. Budget: [YOUR BUDGET].
What this prompt doesThe English prompt assigns Claude four roles (strategist, copywriter, operations manager, financial analyst) that it will combine in every chat within the project. Replace [YOUR NICHE] with your niche, [YOUR AUDIENCE] with your target audience, [YOUR BUDGET] with your available budget (e.g., $0 or $200/month).
  3. 3.Inside the project, create your first chat and ask Claude to build a business process map for your niche.

Project knowledge will be applied automatically - you don't need to repeat the context every time like in a regular chat.

    Claude About this tool
    Prompt
Map out a complete one-person business workflow for [YOUR NICHE]. Break it into 5 stages: Lead Generation -> Lead Capture -> Sales -> Delivery -> Retention. For each stage, list: 1) the core activity, 2) a tool I can use for free, 3) one AI prompt I can reuse, 4) a bottleneck and how to solve it. Output as a table.
What this prompt doesClaude will output a table with 5 funnel stages, tools, and ready-made prompts for each stage. Replace [YOUR NICHE] with your niche, e.g. 'online tutoring' or 'freelance design'.
  4. 4.Copy the table results into a document. In the same chat, ask Claude to turn each prompt from the table into a ready-made template with variables.

You can use Google Docs, Notion, or simply save it as a .md file on your computer.

    Claude About this tool
    Prompt
Take every AI prompt from the table above and turn each into a reusable template with [BRACKETED] placeholders. Group them by stage. Add a one-line instruction before each prompt explaining when to use it.
What this prompt doesClaude will turn the prompts from the previous response into templates with bracketed variables - you can plug in your data each time without rewriting.
  5. 5.Create a separate chat in the same project and request a weekly operations plan - this will replace a project manager for you.

Each chat within the project shares the same context, but histories don't mix - convenient for separating topics.

    Claude About this tool
    Prompt
Create a weekly operating rhythm for my one-person business in [YOUR NICHE]. For each weekday (Mon - Fri), assign: 1) a primary focus area, 2) 2-3 specific tasks, 3) estimated time blocks, 4) which reusable prompt template from our previous chat to use. Output as a checklist I can print.
What this prompt doesClaude will create a weekly schedule with specific tasks and links to the templates from step 4. Replace [YOUR NICHE] with your niche.
  6. 6.Export the results: copy the system prompt from step 2, the table from step 3, the templates from step 4, and the plan from step 5 into a single document (Google Docs or Notion). This is your 'solo business kit' - use it as a living system: update prompts, return to the Claude project for refinements.

In Notion, you can create a page with three blocks: System Prompt, Templates, Weekly Plan - and duplicate it for each new launch or product.
